- INTIFRTACION OFICIAL.
La noticia de su muerte en un ac-cidente
automoviiLstico fue amplia-mente
difundida. Detallados informes
nos did la prensa oficial, para in-sistir
que la muerte hab{a sido ac_
cidental. El gobierno mexicano
siempre quizo identificar al lider
revolucionario como un delincuente
comin, minimizando y ocultando la e
xistencia de grupos armados revolu-cionarioa
en diferentes estados dei
pais. Tropas militares en el lugar
dei accidente. Un gran aparato esta-tal
se levanto para verificar, vigi-lar
y ocultar el cuerpo del lider
guerrerense. Estos son hechos indi-cadores
de que el asunto tuvo desde
siempre entra.a política y no poli-daca.
3- POR QUE UNA GUERRILLA
-
Un movimiento guerrillero no se
da de la nada, no de la noche a la
maana se comprueba la existencia
de un 'foco de disturbios" que ame-naza
alterar el orden social estable
cido y derrocar él poder "emanado
dei pueblo', como trata de hacer ver
el gobierno mexicano. La inconformi-dad
no se genera en el vado. Son
las condiciones de desigualdad tan
grandes en la distribucion de la ri-queza,
las contradicciones de clase
y los antagonismos raciales -situa-clones
ocultadas durante mucho tiem-po

la muerte, la revolucicn.

TI OFFICIAL STORY
The news of his death in a 'car ac-cident
was spread widely by theof-ficial
press, The Mexican goverinent
had consistently tried to present
this revolutionary leader as s corn-mon
criminal, trying to minimize and
deny the existence of revolutionary
armed groups in Mexico. Government
troops were in the area of theso-callad
accident and the state ap-psratus
took charge and hid the body
of the leader. These facts alone io
dicate that the matter had po1iticl
implications from the beginning.
WHY A GUERRILLA MOVEMENT?
A guerrilla movement like that one
does not arise from nothing. A force
that threatens t1e:spcia1 order does
not begin in a um It is generat-ed
by unequal distrfbution of wealth
by contradictions beween the very
rich and the masses of very pooç peo
pie, end by racial, àntsgonismshat
for a long tin the government bas
tried to tnore an<! hide Thea are
the real causes of discontentvio-lence
death and zevoLution;
ThE ÚAL REASON XÒk riÉ MURDER
It léiat that the administre-tion
o !;6 EcIievarra, by assaain-sting
GenaWVazquez Rojsa, intends
to end the spirit of rebeJlion of
the greatly ¿pprgasad Mexican massue.
We have but to look at history--l9l9,
Zapata is aaaasinsted by the Carrao..
za government; 1962, Ruben Jaramillo
essasinsted by the Lopez-Mateos re-gime.
Both were peasant leaders, pro-duced
by the daily genocide of their
people by a ayatem rooted in human
exploitation.
